Rockabilly Folk-Pop Sing-Along for children and their grown-ups by Train-Themed band The Conductors.

Rockin' across the railways and beyond, The Conductors bring you hip Family-Friendly entertainment with a train theme and a gondola of original and traditional songs with that all-new twist to keep your ears listenin' and your toes a-tappin'.

Led by Educator and Chief Songwriter “Smokestack Joe”, The Conductors love to explore musical styles and employ their diverse influences from 50's Rockabilly and 60's Pop Rock, to Folk/Americana and pared-down Singer/Songwriter stylings to deliver instantly memorable songs filled with imagery and themes that appeal to both children and their grown-ups alike.

This is music that is meant to be shared by the entire family. Offering something of substance for the parent to rock along to, yet fun and often meaningful (not-dumbed-down) children’s songs for the younger set.

With deep ties to the Special Needs Community, The Conductors began as a musical project when group leader Joe Hutchinson’s son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. His son Drayke was fascinated by trains, which gave Joe the idea to marry both his son’s and his own passions… TRAINS & ROCK N ROLL, as a way to make connections with his child, and perhaps to give similar families an enjoyable experience and share the musical tools he discovers and works with at home and at play.
